BZ Media LLC announced today an open call for speakers for InterDrone™ The International Drone Conference & Exposition being held at the Rio Hotel in Las Vegas Sept 6-8. Last year’s program had over 180 top speakers in the commercial drone market, including FAA Administrator Michael Huerta presenting the Grand Opening Keynote. 

The 2017 edition of InterDrone will highlight 5 new Enterprise Tracks:

Precision Agriculture – sessions will emphasize the use of drones, techniques and technologies for detailed farming management, including data collection and analysis, remote sensing and multispectral imagery.

Drones in Construction – session content will show how UAVs can streamline the construction industry through data collection, images, BIM, and efficient resource management, saving time and money.

Mining and Aggregates – content will focus on UAV worksite management tools and technologies and how to analyze stockpiles quickly and efficiently while creating maps and models for planning, reporting and auditing needs. 

Energy, Infrastructure & Utility Inspection – session content will cover use cases and real-world implementations for using drones in inspecting oil & gas, telecom, process industry, and utility infrastructure. Tools, tips and techniques for faster and safer problem resolution as well as how UAVs can affect a company’s bottom line will also be discussed.

Police, Fire, Emergency Response, Search & Rescue – content will focus on real-world applications of using drones in dire situations as well as law enforcement, including surveillance and security. The UAV solutions implemented in these circumstances will also be covered

The program will also feature three technical Conferences, which define the commercial UAV space:

Drone TechCon: For drone builders, engineers, OEMs and developers. The content will focus on advanced flying dynamics, chips and boards, airframe and payload considerations, hardware/software integration, sensors, power and software development.

Drone Enterprise: For Enterprise UAV flyers, buyers and Drone Service Businesses. Classes focus on enterprise applications such as precision agriculture, surveying, mapping, infrastructure inspection, law enforcement, package delivery and search and rescue.

Drone Cinema: For flyers engaged in aerial photography and videography. Class content includes drone use for real estate and resort marketing, action sports and movie filming, newsgathering – and any professional activity where the quality of the image is paramount.

More than 4,000 attendees are expected to attend InterDrone 2017. InterDrone 2016 drew 3,518 attendees from 54 different countries on 6 continents and the event featured 155 exhibitors and sponsors in 222 booths. It was also recently named to the Trade Show Executive magazine list of fastest growing shows in 2016. InterDrone was one of only 14 shows in the country that was named in each of the three categories; fastest growth in exhibit space, growth in number of exhibitors and in attendance.
